Civil Engineering
Based in Dumfries, Finite Engineering can provide a broad range of civil engineering related services both in Scotland and Northern England. We offer extensive project management experience through the full lifecycle of your project, from conception and preliminary design through to detailed design and project management.
Highway Infrastructure
We have acquired significant experience in relation to the design and project management of a broad range of highway structures, with extensive experience in the inspection, assessment and reporting services for existing highway structures.
At Finite Engineering we are also experienced in the design and detailing of road infrastructure, particularly in relation to new housing developments. Designs include for effective drainage and flooding assessments incorporating sustainable drainage solutions in compliance with current legislation.
Flooding
Finite Engineering through its parent company 'Flooding Risk Assessments Limited' can undertake detailed flood modelling work to determine the effects of flooding on proposed developments. All work is undertaken using industry approved methods and software acceptable to SEPA, The Environment Agency, local authorities and other regulatory bodies.
Project Management
Our project management skills can provide the duties of Engineer, Resident Engineer, Supervisor and Designers' Representative depending on contract conditions. A working knowledge of contract processes allows for effective contract management skills.
